Hi, I’m
Shawn Clagg
I have been dedicated to providing tax preparation and financial planning services since 2000. My career began in Dallas and Frisco, Texas, and in 2005, I moved back to Oklahoma. In 2010, I co-founded Burkeen Clagg Bartel CPA’s (BCB) and served clients until 2020. After a decade at BCB, I transitioned to the role of CFO for a start-up that focused on acquiring and managing veterinary practices nationwide. This diverse experience has equipped me with a wealth of knowledge that benefits my clients.
On a personal note, my wife, Carole, and I are from McAlester, Oklahoma. Carole is a math teacher at Bixby Public Schools. We are proud parents of two wonderful children: Molly, who is studying nursing at OU, and Tyler, also at OU, is pursuing a pre-med track. My family and I are members of The Park Church of Christ.
Like many parents, my life revolves around spending quality time with my kids and guiding them to become kind, responsible individuals. In my spare time, I enjoy fishing (especially for crappie) and playing golf, even if I’m not particularly skilled at either.
